RHS Wisley
I think every virgin gardener should take a trip to RHS Wisley. It’s gorgeous and inspiring but totally unpretentious. We came away planning the massive gardens of our future (no idea how we’re going to afford the houses that go with these gardens) and with big smiles on our faces.
I did find the shop bit a tad overwhelming though. I loved it at first but as I tried to work out what plants would work in the shade, and what was worth trying and what an earth a hardy perennial is…. well it all got a bit much. I came away with a gorgeous standing basket and a couple of bedding plants to go in it and left it at that. I’ll be back!
